How this is calculated
- EV monthly energy = (monthly km ÷ 100) × EV efficiency (kWh/100km).
- Solar needed for EV = EV monthly energy ÷ (peak sun hours × 30) — extra kW to fully cover the car.

- Monthly grid cost reduction = the solar generation that offsets your grid usage (capped at total usage), valued at the tariff.
